    Membership of ATL is intended for:

    •  everyone interested in the objectives of the association e.g.
      •   students at any level
      •   institutes of learning;
      •   language and translation bodies;
      •   publishers of general and specialised dictionaries;
      •   other organisations interested in the advancement or use of terminology and lexicography.


    The group of people forming ATL are:

    • Dr Catherine Greensmith PhD - Director of French Studies University of Hull
    • Delyth Prys BA - University of Wales (Bangor) Centre for the Standardization of Welsh Terminology
    • Dr Margaret Rogers PhD - University of Surrey Centre for Translation Studies
    • Mike Roberts MCLIP - Chairman BSI TS/1 Terminology and other language resources
    • Virginia Lester MIL, MITI, MTA - Freelance translator
    • Chris Cox LLB (Lond Ext) - British Standards Institution

    The Association's annual general meeting will be held at 1.45 pm on 18 June 2005 as part of the forthcoming conference.

    Association for Terminology and Lexicography is a private limited company limited by guarantee, incorporated on behalf of the members forming ATL by Chris Cox (Director) and Mike Roberts (Director and Secretary).
